It’s that time again! Our 2nd annual New Moon Harvest Festival is happening on October 7th, 2023.

CHRIS RAABE – Start Time 1:45 pm


Hudson Valley’s very own “Guitar Hero”, Chris Raabe, has been moving and entertaining audiences for over a decade. This passionate artist has roots in genres of Soul and Rock however, when it comes to the Blues Chris is in a league of his own. Time and time again he delivers soulful and colorful performances that keep his listeners on the edge of their seats. Chris captivates his listeners with harmonious guitar playing and unique vocal qualities. Gathering influence from an array of different artists and genres, Chris has developed his own unique sound. His music offers a front-row seat to blues-based emotions further revealing his message that music is spiritual and has the power to influence and transport

JASON GISSER – Start Time 4:15 pm

 

Influenced by Funk, Soul, n Rock, Jason plays music you feel with powerful vocals. He is the lead singer of the Jason Gisser Band as well as the President of Soul Mouth Radio. When Jason is playing his original music in a venue he can command a room with his original brand of funky acoustic soul rock. He makes sure the audience feels the music. He has played his originals in venues such as, Daryl’s House, The Paramount Theater, The Towne Crier, Mexicali Live, The Falcon, The Chance Theater and many other large venues and has opened for national acts such as, Three Dog Night, Grand Funk Railroad, Lukas Nelson & The Promise of the Real, Hoobastank, ect… Jason has over many albums worth of material that he has written. He pulls deep from love, hate depression, moments in life that help define us. His music is very relate able on a personal level and he leaves audience wanting more.

Our pie baking contest is back with a new second category!

While our good friends Guilty Pleasures Cheesecakes will be our celebrity judges for the main event (winner gets to be showcased in their store for a week), the Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson, Inc. has stepped in with a special category.

Rules for Judges’ Choice:

  • All pies must be solely made and baked by the entrant.
  • You must not be a professional baker
  • Pies must have at least one main ingredient sourced locally. You will be required to tell us what you used and where it was sourced.
  • All pies should be baked either the same day or less than 24 hrs before the contest. Please bring them to the festival by 12:30 to check in and be included in the contest.
  • The entrance fee for the contest is $10. Please use the buttons below to enter.
  • What do you get?
     Besides bragging rights for a year, you get:
    • Your pie featured in Guilty Pleasures Cheesecakes Shop for a week
    • Feature spotlight on ihearthudsonvalley.com

Rules for Girls Scouts:

  • All pies must be solely made and baked by the entrant.
  • Contestants must be a current Girl Scouts.
  • Pie has to be made using GS cookie as ingredients OR inspired by the flavors (Chocolate & Mint/Lemon/Shortbread/Coconut, Chocolate & Caramel…pick your fave!)
  • All pies should be baked either the same day or less than 24 hrs before the contest. Please bring them to the festival by 12:30 to check in and be included in the contest.
  • The entrance fee for the contest is $10. Please use the buttons below to enter.
  • What do you get?
     Besides bragging rights for a year, you get:
    • GS official swag from Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson
    • Your pie featured in the iHeart Market micro-cafe
    • One weekend of deck space at Depot Street for your troop during peak cookie season.

To participate in the people's choice contest, all bakers entering the pie contest must register for an NYS Home processor Exemption. You can do that by clicking here for the form or click here for more information. The cost is free. 

If you do not wish to register, you can participate in the judges-only contest.

CONTRACT AGREEMENT

iHeart Hudson Valley / Mamba's Creations and/Or the New Moon Harvest Festival Committee WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE for any damages or loss of any kind to exhibitors, their displays, or for any injury caused, for the duration of the show, including set-up and removal of display.

Exhibitors agree not to engage in any inappropriate activity, (loud radios, bull horns, etc.), which would distract from the atmosphere of the show. 

Vendors will have and display a valid NYS resale tax number.
Everyone is responsible for their own garbage.  At the close of the show, we ask that you pick up and take home any discarded merchandise, boxes or cartons that have accumulated in your space, leaving your area as clean as you found it.
 

PROHIBITED

THE SALE OR FREE DISTRIBUTION OF ANY OF THE FOLLOWING IS PROHIBITED: FIREWORKS AND OTHER PYROTECHNICS, WEAPONS, GUNS, KNIVES, CHEMICALS, ETC. (EXCEPT ANTIQUE OR ORNAMENTAL), CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES AND/OR RELATED PARAPHERNALIA, PORNOGRAPHIC LITERATURE, PHOTOS, FILMS, VIDEOS, OR OTHER PRODUCTS; ANY COUNTERFEIT PRODUCTS OR PRODUCTS BEARING COUNTERFEIT, IMITATIONS OR COLORABLE TRADEMARKS, OR ANY OTHER ITEMS THAT ARE ILLEGAL IN NEW YORK STATE.

ALL FOOD VENDORS MUST HAVE A VALID NYSDPH PERMIT
EXHIBITORS PROVIDE THEIR OWN DISPLAY DEVICES, TABLES, ETC.

NOTE:   THERE IS NO ELECTRICAL HOOK-UP PROVIDED.
SPACE RESERVATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 30, 2023


THERE ARE LIMITED SPACES AVAILABLE!  A REQUEST FOR A SPECIFIC SPACE CAN BE MADE, BUT THE FINAL LOCATIONS OF A VENDOR ARE AT THE DISCRETION OF THE COMMITTEE.

A CONFIRMATION WILL BE SENT TO ALL VENDORS APPROVED TO ATTEND THE EVENT, FOLLOWING THE SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THEIR APPLICATION AND PAYMENT.
